I don't care where you work, when you turn in your resignation, it's over. Your value to the Company is nil. Not the time to be asking for favors. You ain't their problem no more.
Magnum does more than most, they did offer a ride. But I have seen drivers who were "difficult" to work with told they were on their own, gate is over there. Don't know war wagon, don't know which one he was. Only hearing one side of the story.
Bottom line, if you're going to leave, have a plan in place. Clean out the truck. Leave the wife, kids, and dog at home. Travel light. Arrange transport. Once you turn in those keys, you're on your own.
Driver did none of that. Doesn't even have his next job lined up and nailed down. Poor planning through and through.line, runningman0661 and Ray Strack Thank this. -
Haven't been down there myself either lately, other than to bring back a truck. Shame really, easy 1500 mile run and it ain't jersey. They should spread the wealth more.mattbh23 Thanks this. -
Ive only been to NC twice in 7 months. Was never easy to get there. One was a repower to get me home. Ppg site to detroit.
mattbh23 Thanks this. -

This #### just keeps getting better.
They just added stuff to my PSP.
So now because I have a couple of preventable accidents I can't get the job I was going to.
Oh, and the preventable accidents were when I was hit while parked in truck stops. Yep, sitting there minding your business and get hit, Magnum is gonna blame you.
My preliminary PSP from Magnum was clean. Nothing at all. So when the company pulled the final PSP from Magnum to put in my hire records this stuff is there.
So no job. -

It’s more likely your DAC. They did it to me also.... plus several others I know of.

Been following this thread for long time. Run up to Fargo weekly pulling a tank. But yea, there was several pages last year dedicated to this subject, sabotaged DAC reports. The mega haulers used to do it regularly until the advent of the internet and people working together to figure out the games these companies played.
Gotta be upfront with the new employer. I work for a 5 terminal 300 truck company and know for a fact that if a new driver explained their current predicament and the unscrupulous tactics of their current employer, it wouldn’t effect the hiring process.
GOOD drivers are near impossible to find and retain. Companies that go strictly off paper really aren’t worth your time. They need to meet you and talk to you. I just don’t think any company that uses cue card reading recruiters and Craigslist ads is a company that you want to work for. They’ll hire ANYONE and the work environment will reflect that.
