Some drivers, I think claim forced maybe justify there own bad habits. know several people just like that had one recently said same thing company was bad terms not keeping up drivers HOS normally thats drivers responsibility anyways what happen was driver called told him he couldn't pickup load and deliver was 4 hours away delivery time they had window I think was Friday all day next day closed till Monday they even gave him on message on tablet till Monday open window also, they wanted him to drop Friday because he was complaining wanting more longer loads Monday they planned to have him a nice 1400 mile load because he didn't show up Friday he didn't get load to come Monday evening he put in request for time off. apparently he drove that time 2 weeks previous week only 1 week. that includes time took get him back home. Not saying their aren't bad companies but if everything I heard at face value every driver, and the company would be at zero stars and a new method prob of rating negative stars.

Those names "owners" of the company are not Russian. You re just like most ####### American that ignorant thinking there's no other countries on the other side of the earth but Russia.

Whoa now! I think what he meant to imply is that there are numerous trucking companies that operate out of the greater Chicago vicinity whom are immigrants from eastern European countries... Unfortunately many of these companies are infamous for operating with unscrupulous business practices, and wronging drivers. This gives them a bad stereotype with the industry, the same way that some ignorant Americans give all Americans a bad stereotype.

It is a stain on the American Industry. But I best shut up right now if I value my time here.

I agree that all Russians who own trucking companies do not fall under the same umbrella and this goes for any immigrant who have come to this country and started a business. There are several warning signs however for a driver to be on the lookout when he is job searching.
First is a 1099 pay system, I am talking company drivers, not 0/0s A truck owner who pays his drivers on a 1099 form, he will not only screw the driver on paying taxes, he will be unscrupulous in other ways.

You get a great big W2 ATTABOY but you have to forfeit and surrender your M&IE $68.00 standard daily exemption and trade it for 12% cafeteria $...
According to your loving Uncle Sam and his congress full of BABOONS!
Let$ $ee what does my greed want....
    1500.00 X 12%= $ 180.00.....
    or 7 days x $68.00= $ 476.00 ?
OK....I confess my greed is killing me.
I am definitely guilty of wanting what was available before they REACHED INTO YOUR HOLY POCKETS AND KEPT IT FOR THEMSELVES!!!
Yep....never let it be said I was the one calling....LOVING UNCLE SAM
    DIVISIVE!!!!!

So.....if your going to be objective then lets throw the numbers around....
And lets ask beside all the other criminal pay practices they engage in how specifically "AS YOU SAID" "SCREWING THE DRIVER ON HIS TAXES"......
    1. Employers half % (7.5%) of SSI contribution right ?
OK....So....if you are one of the rare few who make for ez calculation purposes
$100,000.00....annually as a company driver 1099....then what did you get screwed out of.....$7,500.00 mutual contribution....right?
So.....there is no way then that you would pay that amount to your own benefit.....to have a job where you grossed....100K....then right?
    Right?....or even 90K...or 80K right?
OK.....then yoy wouldn't. ...but I honestly would ....maybe even have.

SO.....tell me more....how else is the driver getting screwed....
    Is it workers compensation coverage?
When....Occupational accidental insurance isn't that expensive....
What are you getting screwed out of there besides the right to the wc claim and to pursue a negligence claim against your employer?
SO....What is it ( tax wise AS U SAID)...because.....health insurance isn't taxes.....and 401K isn't and p.s. isn't.....So....what TAXES are we actually talking....or are you referring to hear......Because the Baboons took your W2....$68.00 M&IE completely away but they still get paid it....
They are getting there's while you get 12% cafeteria perdiem!
So....what taxes is a 1099 employer screwing company drivers out of?
Anything beyond $7,500.00 per my example?
    What about the 45/wks=305 days X $68.00 M&IE....=$20,740.00
THE BABOONS REACHED IN AND TOOK FROM YOUR POCKET!!!
    Doesn't that P u off....?
