However, I do know what you are talking about and it had nothing to do with my edit. I'm not sure how they got out of order, but the post telling the disabled vet to start his own thread came before the disabled vet actually posted. We've seen it before and the senior moderators can't figure out what causes it.
The other thread appears to be working fine now, as well as this one.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
???? #12 #14 #13... why did I need a different tthread? Text something wrong?

The numbers are simply post numbers. For example, the post you made that I quoted is post #14 in this thread. You can easily see that while on a computer. If you are on your phone, you have to turn it sideways to see it.blairandgretchen and Opus Thank this. -
What part of Florida?

Many companies don't hire if your address is somewhere South of Interstate 4. -
1st, welcome aboard, and thanks for your service. 2nd, I would be appalled if a formerly convicted felon would get a job before you did. "Disabled" can mean many things, and you must be more specific to get any advice. It's entirely possible to be partially disabled physically, and still drive a truck, but many times, physical work is needed at some point. Also, sitting for long periods of time takes its toll as well. OTR is more conducive than say local P&D( pickup and delivery) where you may have 30 pickups and stops, all requiring some sort of activity. OTR, you just sit there, or so it seems. Good luck.
Chinatown Thanks this. -

I had a dot approved doctor hold each of my ankles for a few seconds once. I was baffled as to why she would do this. Then I realized she was checking to see if my legs were real.
There is no age restriction on getting a CDL. There are medical restrictions.
Plenty of older drivers than 56.201 Thanks this.
