I found out it's just a feature of the laptop it'll hold it's charge to 80% and then it'll charge to 100%

 

I'm on Southwest Regional, l I live near Dallas. and I stay out like three and a half weeks and take like 5 days off. I'd say 90% of the loads are like load around Dallas bring it to Kansas City or Omaha area then reload back to Dallas area or like Walmart in Arkansas

 

I’m ok with that… {shrug}

 

I’d be happy to never hook another reefer ever again.

 

A company that I used to do Accounting/Auditing for provided me the Ford version of that Lincoln and I really kind of miss it. It was a Big Ol Boat but it rode smooth and could fit 3-4 bodies in that trunk.

 

trust me you can fit more than 3 or 4 bodies in it

 

I used to own a '75 Continental Town Car, the trunk was bigger than some apartments in NYC.

 

One of my LEAST favorite loads is hauling rancid spoiled dog food to the hog farm. I took a load from Royal Canin that wasn't bad at all... just expired dog food.. but every load I ever took from Aurora to Henry was just NASTY. They have all been by-product and production waste in big bags. Plan on a trailer wash... those big poly bags tend to leak.

 

I’m going to take back what I said about uneventfulness. (Laws of life)

Got to independence this morning. CAVE DELIVERY!!! 10 years in a truck and never hit the caves before.

Other hand, receiver claimed they never got an unload appointment from us. So, dispatch had me take it to the KC drop yard to grab a flatbed.

Stone from cottonwood falls KS to Council Bluffs, but drop it in Lincoln for a local to deliver. Great! Aside from the train the blocked the tracks near the quarry for half an hour.

Make it to Lincoln and dropped the trailer, and started strapping down my next load. Fence to Riverside. I have to run up to Fremont in the morning for my chains and tarps. But before I could start securing this load, 2 flat tires on the RR axle of the spread.

So either way, here I set. No rush. I’ve been humbled and reminded why we don’t talk about how good the nothing days are.
