Laying here in the easy chair looking at that picture reminds me how awesome retirement really is

 

Got loaded here in SC now let’s see if i can beat this winter storm coming through the south. Going to Iowa by way of Indy and I-74 so here’s hoping

 

I stopped in okc so i wouldnt hit the traffic but then they rescheduled my load in coppel for monday. Guess i'll head home tomorrow.

 

Leaving Hillsboro at 12:50am this morning paid off it looks like. I probably could’ve slept in a little longer. But I got to Beatrice around 12:15p and I’ll be 30 mins from delivery tomorrow morning.

 

Good thing he’s full of fuel, he might be there a while.

 

Had a heck of week going until today. Got my second drop off in MI and headed to my reload. Got there and they said “we didn’t have all the product so we sent it on FedEx Freight cuz it was only 5 pallets”. A relaxing night and sleeping in a little will be nice.

 

After being off work for so long I’m looking forward to being busy, out and about in a truck headed anywhere! I don’t make a very good couch potato. Makes me grumpy to just sit around after I have all my honey-do’s done. I’ve been known to cut our grass whether it needs it or not, just for something to do.
