I was talking more in a general sense, I wasn't singling you out for anything. In general, drivers are bunch of a lazy ### whiners.

I'm not one of those people who can crack some windows and go to sleep unless it's 50 degrees and the sun has gone down. Otherwise it gets too hot and stuffy. I can't sleep unless it's pretty much an igloo in the truck. My APU is always set as low as it can go and sometimes even that is too hot for me

I sleep at night so I don't have to idle.

mines not quite that severe. The only thing that pulls power is the fridge when it kicks on. I have nothing else plugged in

Well now all they have to do is actually enforce it, unfortunately like most other rules, regulations, and laws that are on the books, they don’t enforce it.

It will be nice if we drive by scalehouses in the next few months and tons of trucks and drivers are OOS. In the last 5 to 7 years it has gotten ridiculous.

They won’t. The old fmcsa regulations book from years ago clearly states that any driver of a commercial vehicle must be able to clearly speak and read English to operate on the road. Hadji and the boys will find a way to skirt around the law.

This current executive order overrides the EO obama out into place directing agencies to ignore that rule, that’s the big reason it wasn’t being enforced

I was gonna say, since before I started driving 30+ years ago, there has been a regulation requiring drivers to have a basic understanding of the english language, but there has been a serious lack of enforcement. Like that bill in Congress they're talking about that makes purposely wrecking with a truck to collect a big settlement a felony, this is just a "look at what I am doing" political dog and pony show, nothing will change on our end.
