Seems like a common practice by JB Hunt. At least you found out before you drove up there with your own gas

Well Otis, I don’t know of any devious tactics you can employ other than what you mentioned.
My feeling, however, is it would be a waste of your time and, as you said, they’ve already wasted plenty of your time. Besides, you’re not going to hurt them any. They’re huge, and most folks in here already know what they’re about.
If I were you, I’d grab a quart of that shine you like and go hang out at the court house and relax until Barney brings you breakfast. -
Honestly move up from a starter company try aim for Walmart or trucking companies that has union in it thats prob one the best ways to show them seriously screw them your better off then being tied to a mega trucking company. find job you love or pays well and if you find one that's both even better it rare for someone to love their job even if it pays well.

Yep, chalk it up to experience, now you know better and move on with your life the man that said living well is the best form of revenge is 100% correct besides, you don't wanna risk your freedom for doing something stupid, right?
Well, IF you don't care about freedom you could just de-rail the next train you see that has 20 to 50 of their trailers on..... that'll teach them. To be effective though, make sure you leave them a note stating who done it.....that way they'll know to not mess with your ###### again!
And you didn't hear that from me... -
Barring any of the others that would land you in jail. (Liked those a hell of a lot more though.....).
Face facts, your screwed Dude.
Not many options left that will not cost you more than what you seek.
Welcome to the club.
Been there, done that in past.
Just cut loses & move on.
Sometimes jail does sound appealing though. At least from the satisfaction side of things.
But, that's just me & my crazy ### self.snowlauncher Thanks this. -
Sounds like this is a typical JB Hunt tactic. They had a good account posted local to me that was home every other night. I filled out the online form and they called right away. I was interested, then the next day when I’m supposed to do a formal screening they tell me it’s filled, but they have regional, home every other weekend out of a terminal two hours away. I just hung up. Meanwhile, the job posting was never taken down. They called about once every two weeks for a while saying they had an opening on that account, but I figured it was all ########, and by then I had landed my linehaul job at OD.
I tell everyone to steer clear of JB Hunt.TB John Thanks this. -
I don’t think it’s an intentional “bait and switch” as you guys are saying. There’s tons of accounts at JB and they add and lose drivers all the time. Some might have 10 drivers others 200. The hiring process can take a couple weeks and accounts can fill up in that time. Yeah it might get a little sloppy but again I don’t think it is intentional. You might have to work a different account for a few months but it is easy to transfer once you’re in.
