Well not any longer, but before I was almost as grumpy as you when you drove here lol. Still enjoying the new gig?

 

I ate but it didnt help. I was up early to run this morning and it is hard to nap in a garage bay with mechanics working. On the bright side, this trailer has new fittings and air lines and ready to roll!!

 

Still lovin' it here. Will be glad when winter is over.

 

I had a cool experience this evening. Driving north on I-40 entering KY (through the twisty mountains). The truck speed limit is 50mph through there. It was pitch black outside. There was a giant truck convoy. Trucks as far ahead and as far behind as I could see. Lots of CB chatter. Lots of truck lights. It was pretty neat.

I usually don’t drive at night much, so maybe this is more common than I know. But it was pretty cool. I’ve had this happen during the day before. But it’s different at night with nothing but truck lights all over.

 

I do a lot of night driving. Maybe limited to that area, other than that not that common. I like night driving because the roads are so empty, good mile to clock ratio. I also enjoy it largely when driving through cities. I love the lights. I enjoy the sunrise when night driving or running early too.

 

That was The Gorge at the NC/TN line. Trucks restricted to the right lane only. That things been closed in the past for several months at a time due to landslides. Also notorious for several truck roll overs per month. Beautiful drive during the daylight hours.
