Samsung Note3 mostly. Sometimes when I am at home I will use the desktop if it's booted up already.

 

As prepared as you are with all your tools and air hoses, Im surprised you don't have a desktop in your truck! lol

 

I use to carry a laptop. Even had a all-in-one printer/scanner. But with these truck having a major lack of storage, and the speed and power of modern smartphones, I hadn't turned on the computer in almost a year. I thought about getting a cheap bluetooth enabled printer just in case I needed a hard copy of my logs for a picky DOT that wouldn't accept an email and didn't have a way to receive a fax...but in all the years I've done e-log, I have only had 1 inspection that the cop asked me to roll thru the days on the screen for him.

I mean, this phone can do more than my laptop can and do it faster. (I have a very old Windows XP laptop)

Got 3.25 hrs of detention at Newport and a little more weight than I need.

It doesn't get any better than this. Gonna have to burn some fuel.

Being fat has its downsides at times.

 

After I get empty in Chicago Tuesday, I head to Elgin IL to pick up a load going to Menards in Shelby IA. I didn't know Menards had cold storage products.
