Not this time of year, especially when I had 7502 on the 15th. 12k just crosses the 'acceptable' threshold this time of year, AND
when they claim we are so busy we need to hire as much as possible, they beg us to recruit because they are supposedly turning down loads.

Called the shipper in new Britain Connecticut asking if they would be able to load me tomorrow morning instead of the afternoon and when they called me back after looking for the paperwork on the load, they asked me where I was at. I told them where I was at and they said you can come right now and we’ll load you now…

Load ended up being neither 33° nor 0°, it's a -10° cont load of inedible pulverized chicken. Inedible meat that is suitable for pet food. Glad my pitty eats the same food my wife eats (off of my wife's fork because she is spoiled rotten). The shipper wasn't busy at all, and put me right to a door as soon as I got there, only took about 25 minutes to get loaded and back down to an acceptable temperature. Have a preplan, pick up in the same area as I deliver in Columbus going to Memphis for Sunday evening. A 600 mi, 2 day run, so if I get another similar run that delivers past the end of the month (like they've been doing) I will end up with 12,200 miles for the month and 33275 for the quarter, well under last quarter's total. So, when I told the new guy I wanted to stay out so I could finish the quarter with a bang, it ended up being a huge dud instead. So much for me being mister niceguy, from now on, when they end up sending sub-par loads, I start riding his ### like a rented mule. I gave him a chance, and I saw just a little over one good month, since then, he has been pretty much like I had originally expected how a CSR-turned-Dispatcher would be. Totally underwhelming, and he is still slower than molasses when it comes to answering messages...hell, I get replys from someone named Tim as often as I get them from my own AM.

by the way it’s not your empty call on the end of the quarter. All you have to be is dispatched on a load even if you deliver it after the end of the quarter it’s still counts towards the current quarter
